International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Meet Isabelle
Isabelle started her journey to home birth as a labor and delivery nurse. Her continuous need to learn led her to go back to school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife and upon graduation, joined a hospital-based midwifery practice. As a nurse and as a hospital-based midwife, she gained a broad experience in maternal and infant health but also developed an interest in holistic midwifery care.
In 2017, Isabelle left the hospital to open My Mindful Birth, a homebirth practice in the Chicago suburbs, serving women who desire to give birth on their own terms, in the comfort of their home.
More recently, Isabelle moved to Arizona and reopened her homebirth practice under the name My Mindful Birth Arizona.
Isabelle’s gentle, mindful, nurturing guidance helps her clients navigate pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. At births, Isabelle’s calm energy supports an intervention-free, physiologic, and transformative birth experience.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Isabelle cherishes time with her husband and their sons. She enjoys taking her dogs to the park or the river, explore the desert, watch the wild horses as she paddleboards down the Salt River. Occasionally, when her work schedule allows, she likes to go camping or travel to farther destinations.
